Fic: Fight Like A Girl
Fandom: Torchwood
Rating: PG
Words: 3398
Warnings: None. No spoilers.
Notes: A love song to the wonderful women of Torchwood, and also to my adored home city. Betaed by my lovely housemate, dowwdor_shal.
Summary: Character study: if each of the Torchwood girls is isolated and confronted by something from the Rift, how do they cope saving Cardiff whilst flying solo? Different women find different ways to win, but fighting like a girl doesn't mean you don't fight hard.

1. Tosh runs, high-heeled feet slipping and skittering out from underneath her.
2. Gwen doesn’t run, not yet...
3. Suzie stays quite still, for the moment.

Fic: Chains Like The Sea
Fandom: Torchwood
Genre: Angst, mainly
Rating: PG
Words: 405
Warnings: No warnings. Very slight spoilers for Children of Earth and Miracle Day.
Beta: plum177, who has given me much tea and love.
Summary: Pre-Miracle Day, Gwen suffocates beside the sea. Because suddenly Gwen is my very favourite character in Torchwood, and I LOVE HER. The title and the occasional reference come from Dylan Thomas's beautiful poem Fern Hill. Inspiration for this fic came from that poem and my friend apiphile's amazing Gwen fic Lost Woman Song, which you should read. Immediately.

(These days, Gwen doesn’t know where the end ends or the beginning begins; she simply… continues)
Title: Breathe into me and Make me Real
Summary: Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul; don't let me die here. There must be something more.
Rating: R (non-graphic sexual content)
Warnings: Reference to a canon near death experience, and adultery.
Characters: Gwen Cooper, Owen Harper, Jack Harkness, Toshiko Sato, Ianto Jones, and Rhys Williams
Pairings: Gwen/Owen, implied Gwen/Rhys
Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or any of the characters associated with the television series. This story has simply been written for fun, and no money has been or ever will be received for it.
Spoilers: All of series 1 up to and including They Keep Killing Susie.
Word Count: 897
Author's Notes: This story has been written for Challenge #18 at redisourcolor. I've been dying to write a Gwen/Owen piece for a while now and this challenge gave me the kick start that I needed to make it happen. I hope that you enjoy it:)

Title: Moving Forward
Summary: Rhys finds a way to give Gwen something tangible to remember her absent friends and find the courage to start moving forward again.
Rating: PG
Warnings: Reference to canon character deaths.
Characters/Pairings: Rhys/Gwen
Disclaimer: I do not own Torchwood or any of the characters associated with the television series. This story has simply been written for fun, and no money has been or ever will be received for it.
Spoilers: For all Torchwood, up to and including Children of Earth.
Word Count: 1,080
Beta: Thank you to thesteppyone for the beta/britpick. Any remaining errors are my own.
Author's Notes: This story has been written for Challenge #10 at redisourcolor. A bunny bit me quite hard upon seeing this challenge, and I hope that you enjoy it:)

Moving Forward

"If you were ever to meet a character like Captain Jack, I think the most monogamous woman in the world would probably go for him -- it'd be hard not to. "

Torchwood are having a bitch of a day...and the worst part is they keep on having it.
When the anomaly that brings forth a blast from Jack's past also screws up the timeline, some of the team get to change the present...one repeated day at a time.
With enemies loose and time stopping the world in its tracks can Torchwood and their visitor save the days...all the rest of them?

Set sometime between 'Voyage of the Damned' and 'Partners in Crime' for Doctor Who timeline (as the Doctor does not live a linear timeline.) And about mid-season two of Torchwood. So, Owen is actually the poor walking corpse in this game.
